Rooms at the back of hotel very sunny and quiet.
The location was perfect - close to all amentities
The quality of the mattress was firm and good.
Good location. Park the car and get DART into city.
I booked on line and typed my details but address they had inputed for me was riddled with mistakes (not the first time this has happened). I asked for a quiet room so not at the front of the hotel but the first room allocated to me was at the front of the hotel! The receptionist was not happy when I pointed this out. There is no facility on line to book one breakfast for a double room so I went elsewhere for breakfast.
Just that it was quiet enough
Well the building is in need of maintenance, I had to change room as our was a bit dirty and anyway building lack maintenance. Carpets has stains, windows framce have cracks, silicion around the bath was falling a part and in the toilet there was even a missing tile!!!! i will never go back again for sure. at breakfast tyhe girl cleaning the tables was spraying all over the sugar and milk, instead of removing these from table before spraying!!
Very friendly and efficent staff who were very helpful and polite. I stayed for the one night, as I had a Hospital appointment close to Tara Towers. I was delighted with my pleasent stay at this Hotel, as it made things a lot easier for getting to the Hospital. I must say it was quiet and restful, which I appreciated. I would certainly stay here again, and would strongly advise people from the country like myself to stay here. There is a great bus service from just outside the Hotel, which is a bonus instead of paying for a taxi service. This Hotel has a lot going for it , and I am so glad I discovered Tara Towers.
The sea view and also the meals.
The Tara Towers is in a great location and is excellent value for money . It is true to say that the fixture and fittings are a bit tired and frayed at the edges however this is reflected in the low cost of the rooms .
Very very light pillows
Only advantage to this hotel was its proximity to the Blackrock Clinic where we had an early appointment
It was an overnight stay we never want to experience ever again. The Hotel is badly in need of updating, was so shabby and we got no sleep as the windows and door kept banging all night with the wind. When I tried to pull the curtains together I found the blackout linings were in shreds. We needed extra bedclothes as it was so cold but could not contact anyone as our phone did not work. Our so called alarm call was someone knocking on our door 20 mins.later than requested for our appointment
Location - great views across Dublin Bay, close to the city, great transport connections
Standard 3 stay hotel - nothing exceptional!
Bed small, so sleep for me and girlfriend could have been better. Room uncomfortably warm and I am not sure if it is possible to switch off radiatior. One of the receptionists was in training so I suppose the wait to check in was justified.
Friendly staff, free wifi, sea view
The hotel had a good location for our purposes. The staff were very friendly. We arrived late and left early So it was perfect for us considering the price.
The hotel is very dated but you get what you pay for! Considering the price and the fact that it was clean and comfortable I think it Served its purpose well.
A family in a room nearby a bit noisy
A decent hotel which was in a perfect position for our night stay, thank you
